CRIPS-Togo's peer educators step up their abilities

Crips-Togo, like any organization, has set goals and goals for the development of its locality. To get the machine started, we need dedicated, diligent, exemplary and determined men and women to achieve the desired results. To do this, the NGO CRIPS-Togo brought together peer educators at the National School of Medical Auxiliary in Lomé for four days to intensify their performance.

The training, which took place from 28 to 31 March 2018, included 10 adolescents infected or affected by STIs/HIV being monitored by the NGO CRIPS-TOGO. During the training, they were discussed on the extent of the HIV epidemic in the world, in Africa and Togo, the different modes of transmission and prevention of STIs/HIV and also the manifestations of adolescence (adolescent personality, physical, psychological, emotional, sexual transformations… and their implications) to give them essential elements for the continuation of their mission. They will be tasked with hosting group talks alongside their predecessors already on the ground.
