Awareness of early pregnancies, STIs/HIV/AIDS, followed by the provision of services such as voluntary HIV/AIDS testing, STIs management and the provision of contraceptive methods at Dzolo High School in Avé Prefecture on 11 May 2018. CRIPS-Togo NGO supports the protection of population health.
A total of nearly 200 students were affected by this activity, including 106 HIV/AIDS, 36 set up for STIs and 7 recruited for contraception. These awareness series have started since last March and mainly affect the colleges and high schools of the prefecture of Avé, the second intervention area of the NGO CRIPS-Togo after Lomé, the capital.
The censor of KODZO Kokou High School and the Executive Director of CRIPS-Togo took the opportunity to provide useful advice to the young population of Dzolo to preserve their health in order to actively participate in the development of their environment.
Dzolo is a small village of about 4000 inhabitants located in southwestern Togo, 70 km from the capital Lomé. The population is mainly farmers. Corn, peanuts and cassava are food crops. The speciality pineapple of the region, happens to be the industrial culture of the medium.
